ESS2.C: The Roles of Water in Earth’s Surface Processes
Students collected their data and created a data display to be shared to the entire class. Each student group was asked to make a presentation on video. The videos were later given to each student to watch so that they could record the findings from across the investigations.
Sample A shows a picture of students looking at the data from their investigation of changing the temperature of a system and seeing how much water is left in the system as temperature increases. Sample B shows students explaining the data for this system. We see some ambiguous data in that there is an overhand U shaped curve, but the students say that increased temperature always decreases the amount of water.
