Our three Water Notebooks contain digital collections of student artifacts related to the NGSS disciplinary core ideas ESS2: Water and its Role in Earth's Systems. These collections of multimedia artifacts have been consolidated from artifacts submitted by the project's participating teachers, including contextual annotations and initial analysis of the range of student thinking represented in the samples. Each collection is based on the storylines that were developed for each of the grade levels that explored phenomena related to water and its role in Earth's systems: Grades 2, 5, and 6.
