Justin brings over 20 years of teaching and educational leadership experience to his role as the Associate Director of the UCLA Science Project. Justin teaches in the UCLA Teacher Education Program and has led professional learning for thousands of educators in his role. Justin is passionate about using science as an opportunity to promote equity and encourage curiosity in peoples’ lives and communities. Justin also serves as the Program Lead for the Computer Science Supplementary Authorization for pre-service and in-service teachers. As a husband and dad of three growing middle-schoolers, Justin spends a lot of time outdoors, watching his kids on the soccer pitch and traveling to learn about different cultures.
