Marlene is a Ph.D. student at UCLA’s School of Education & Information Studies, with an MPP from The University of Chicago. Her research focuses on improving student learning by supporting teachers’ professional development. She is interested in applying machine learning techniques to advance program evaluation and measurement. She has contributed to projects serving vulnerable populations with the IADB, the WB, and Mexico’s Ministry of Education.
